Dr. Phil Says Goodbye
After more than two decades on-air, Phil McGraw, popularly known as Dr. Phil, has announced his final curtain call. He made the announcement on Tuesday and said, "This has been an incredible chapter of my life and career…but while I'm moving on from daytime, there is so much more I wish to do." Though his talk show is going off air, it is likely viewers will still be able to catch programming featuring the doctor. Steve LoCascio, the president of CBS Media Ventures, said the company and McGraw will maintain a relationship with each other.
Beyoncé's Tour
Beyoncé set the internet a blaze today after revealing her upcoming tour dates and locations for the highly anticipated Renaissance World Tour. The will kick off in May at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, and will move through Europe before landing in the U.S. in July. The announcement comes just days after Queen Bey returned to the stage for the first time in years at the grand opening of Dubai's Atlantis The Royal resort.
Jerrod Carmichael X HBO
While the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences might not be fans of Jerrod Carmichael's MC'ing of the 95th Oscar Awards after his Golden Globes appearance, HBO clearly loved his bits. So much so that the network has ordered a comedic documentary series about the comic's life with him joining the project as an executive producer. The news comes after he signed a two-year deal with HBO last year after the success of his hit stand up special Rothaniel.
