Mariah is Number 1… Again
It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, and that's evident after Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas Is You returned to the top of Billboard's Hot 100. The song, which was released in 1994, has spent nine weeks perched at the top of the chart over the years. It's the fourth year in a row that the song has inched its way back into the No. 1 position and is the only song to ever lead in four separate years.
Taylor's Tour Update
Taylor Swift and Ticketmaster  are looking to make things right with fans who were unable to snag tickets to her upcoming Eras Tour. Verified users, who were supposed to get first dibs on the hot tickets through presale, are being offered a limited chance to purchase two tickets after last month's Ticketmaster queue fiasco. The new ticket window will launch before December 23 with tickets being staggered for each date in every city. Since the initial ticket distribution was botched, more than two dozen Swift fans filed a lawsuit against Live Nation, accusing the event organizer of violating antitrust laws.
BTS' Jin Enlists
BTS member Jin has begun his mandatory military service. The K-pop star took to Weverse, a South Korean multimedia platform, to show his freshly shaved head and in a caption said "it's time for a curtain call." For the next 18 months, he will train at a front-line boot camp in South Korea. Other members of the group will enlist over the next few years. BTS is set to regroup in 2025 once all members have completed their service.
