Casting Sony's 'Madame Web'

American Horror Story veteran Emma Roberts has been tapped to join the cast of Sony's upcoming Marvel movie Madame Web, a Spider-Man spin-off. She's joining an all-star cast that includes Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson, who is set to take on the lead role, and Euphoria's Sydney Sweeney. It's a historic production for Sony as the film will be the studio's first comic book adaptation to feature a female headliner. Madame Web is set to hit theaters in July 2023.

Honestly, Drake Is The Guy

"The Boy" has done it again. Drake's surprise album 'Honestly, Nevermind' debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, making it the rapper's 11th number one album. In typical Drake fashion, excellence isn't just limited to album positioning; he also has the number one song in the country with Jimmy Cooks featuring 21 Savage. Ten other songs from the album also made it to the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Golden Globes on Hold?

The television broadcast of the 2022 Golden Globes ceremony was nixed this year after a boycott that kept celebs away. Stars were furious over an L.A. Times report that revealed the lack of diversity within the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the organization that holds the award show. The body, which was comprised of 101 members in October, did not include a single Black person, according to the report. Not much headway has been made since then, so NBC is facing pushback from Hollywood as the talent there remains unsatisfied.

The 4th Dark Knight

Batman fans, how would you feel about a fourth installment in the Dark Knight franchise? According to Christian Bale, he would be completely down to reprise his role in the franchise as Bruce Wayne. But there is one caveat: Bale says Chris Nolan has to direct the project. The trilogy started in 2005 with Batman Begins, followed by The Dark Knight in 2008, and wrapped up in 2012 with The Dark Knight Rises. Bale told Screen Rant about a pact he made with Nolan about stopping the franchise after three films but said if Nolan wrote another script and wanted him to be part of it, "I'd be in." So far, no word on whether those two will actually reunite on another Batman project.
