Majors Eyes Ledger

Jonathan Majors pointed to the late Heath Ledger as one of his acting inspirations. He said he took a liking to Ledger's approach to tackling roles, specifically as the Joker in The Dark Knight. "First of all, he's gorgeous," Majors told Entertainment Weekly. "He's got that f***ing jawline, and he didn't give a f**k. He threw his body around. He was so full. And I went, 'I'm coming for that. I'm inspired.' It takes a lot, you feel me? To be inspired."

Top Gun's Top Honor

Top Gun: Maverick was named the best film of 2022 by film and TV review website Rotten Tomatoes. The blockbuster scored a 96 percent certified fresh rating from critics while the general public scored it at 99 percent. It has since landed six Oscar noms, including for best picture and adapted screenplay. And aside from the stellar reviews, it also raked in nearly $1.5 billion at the global box office.
