Neve Campbell on 'Scream' Exit

Neve Campbell has opened up about her decision to not be part of the sixth Scream movie. Campbell, who has played Sidney Prescott in the horror film series since 1996, told the Hollywood Reporter that the decision was based on what she considered to be a lowball salary offer. "As a woman, I have had to work extremely hard in my career to establish my value, especially when it comes to Scream. I felt the offer that was presented to me did not equate to the value I have brought to the franchise," she said. The next installment is expected to arrive in theaters in March 2023.
