Cooking Is Overrated
If you ask actor Anya Taylor-Joy what she thinks of cooking, she'll tell you that it's pointless. She told Page Six that cooking doesn't interest her, and that we can rely on third parties for our hunger needs. "I'm not going to lie to you. I feel like we have delivery, we have takeout," she said. Taylor-Joy is currently on a promotional run for her new film titled The Menu, which tells the story of a couple who dines at an exclusive restaurant, where some of the options are not meant for consumption.
Golden Globes Won't See Fraser
Brendan Fraser has made it clear that he has not forgiven the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for its handling of sexual assault allegations he levied against the body's former president Philip Berk. He told Entertainment Weekly that he would not attend the 2023 Golden Globe Awards even if he his nominated for best actor for his role in The Whale. "I have more history with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association than I have respect for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association," he said. "And my mother didn't raise a hypocrite. You can call me a lot of things, but not that."
Jimmy Fallon Isn't Dead
Did you happen to catch the #RipJimmyFallon trend on Twitter? First off, the comedian is not dead. That was evident after he took to his own Twitter account and asked Elon Musk to fix the issue. Musk responded early Wednesday in a tweet that said "Fix what?" Twitter users apparently conspired on the trend after it became public that Musk fired a large portion of Twitter's content moderation team. The trending hoax has become part of a larger issue of disinformation apparently spreading on the platform following several moves made by Musk.
Hahn & Hudson Talk 10 Days Sequel
Actors Kate Hudson and Kathryn Hahn stopped by Cheddquarters to dish on the sequel film to How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. The original film came out about 20 years ago and according to the duo, it's pretty impressive how the film has impacted so many people over the years. "I actually get a lot of young girls that are coming up in journalism [and] they're like 'Annie Anderson actually inspired me to be [a journalist],'" Hudson said.
