what is going on in venice, we have a lot to get to today. So let's start over in venice Florence Pugh came out to the venice Film Festival to rock some amazing outfits and to take some pictures obviously with her, don't with her. Don't worry darling cast but she's not going to grace the red carpet apparently in new york city that is happening in the next couple of weeks whatsoever. The event gonna feature A Q and A. As well as the first look of the movie, four days ahead ahead of its big wide release. Now, her reason for the absence is because of her filming schedule for dune Part two. Also skipping the premier will be chris Pine who inadvertently fueled some Don't worry darling Drama speculation when that viral video showed harry Styles allegedly spitting on him? Well, Pines representatives calling that claim ridiculous. And Styles even addressed that situation last night at his concert here in Madison Square Garden. Listen here, this is our 10th show at Madison Square Garden. It was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful to be back in new york. I just popped very quickly to venice to spit on chris Yes, it but it's like he's showing how ridiculous this is. It's like this is his first major role he's ever had. It's like a public spectacle like this. Why, What would even be his impetus to spit on chris Pine? Like what would even be the point of that? So he's obviously getting in on the absurdity of all of this? Let's go back to the new york city premiere. Who's going then Olivia Wilde and harry harry styles at that particular point. That might be it. By the way, Vanity Fair interviewed Olivia styles and they talked about a bunch of excuse me, Olivia, not Olivia married in your mind, I would love that. No, but she has talked about these rumors just calling them baseless when it comes to Shyla buff when it comes to the beef she has with Florence Pugh. I feel like there's a lot more drama surrounding the movie than more buzz about the movie. This is why everybody's saying there needs to be a sequel that Don't worry darling. And it's all of the drama that is ensuing about this behind the scenes. But also the pr for this is getting so much attention and so much publicity for this film. And Florence Pugh is getting rave reviews in this film also. She's amazing. Yes. So now is there more interesting to see the film just to sort of see you know, body language, all those other sorts of things based off of Florence Pugh and harry styles of sort of interactions with one another. You know, do you sort of see some that stuff on the film set? Also, I am hearing rave reviews about Florence Pugh. Have we heard anything about the movie itself? I even heard so much about the movie itself. I have heard styles. Okay, not spectacular, but Florence Pugh is basically the star of this entire thing here. As Olivia called her miss flow. Now speaking of harry styles, the singer is navigating a double life of forbidden love in the new trailer for prime videos, widely anticipated. My policemen, take a look at this, we need to be my wife. This love is all consuming. I pity people who don't know what it feels like to be this in love and Styles plays a 19 fifties policeman who's caught up in a love triangle, spending nearly half a century. The film hits theaters on october 21st and goes to amazon prime on november 4th. I saw the trailer. I know you did to first. It's beautiful. I just love the way it's already shot. This is based on a book and I was reading an interview from Harry Styles who said when he read the screenplay, the script, he actually con contacted the director right away because he was so touched by it and wanted to be a part of this project. I mean he's really building quite the resume when it comes to his role in a short period of time as well. I mean the thing that he would essentially have two films almost out simultaneously at the same time while he's also doing this giant international tour as well in all of this. So yes, he is clearly stacking himself very, very busy the love triangle sort of aspect here. One involving a sort of a same sex relationship and he's kissing the man and all these other sorts of stuff. I mean this actually seems like another movie. I probably unlikely as well by the way. The policeman isn't the only trailer we're talking about today. Oh no we also got the first teaser for the knives out sequel. Take a look really duke really lock the door, stay in your rooms, everyone is in danger. All right. The murder mystery start yeah. Glass onion a knives out mystery follows a tech billionaire who invites friends for a trip to his private island where one of them winds up dead. The upcoming film hits netflix in december and also stars kate Hudson, Leslie, Odom Jr Edward, Norton, Jenelle Jenelle Monet and of course the one and only mr Daniel craig study beyond. Like this is by the way just like the original knives out and to be honest I almost feel like it's a mistake that netflix is not putting this in theaters because I feel like they could get so much money out of this. But what I love is we know netflix really into sort of buying I. P. And creating franchises like what they've done with stranger Things when you look at the trailer for this at the very bottom it says a knives out mystery series which is so interesting so they're turning that you caught that so it's like it's clearly like they're going turning out all these different knives out series with different names. Obviously attach them like glass onion here, but it is going to be this entire sort of new sort of series we're always going to see from netflix when it comes to the glass the knives out series. And one of our other favorite actors, Kathryn Hahn, also in this kate Hudson like star studded. I can't wait. Yes, exactly. And it's nice to see Daniel craig outside of his James Bond role. Know exactly look, he's done this road so well, so if anything this is going to be, if anything his next career for the next decade, James Bond to this guy from knives out and for the first time in more than two decades Julia roberts is returning to the rom com genre with her new film ticket for Paradise, the actor dominating the category in the 19 nineties with the iconic Pretty Woman, I love that movie, Notting Hill. However, she wishes we better cherished rom coms during its renaissance 20 years ago, robert's telling the new york times, I think we didn't appreciate the bumper crop of romantic comedies that we had, then you don't see all the effort and puppet strings because it's fun and sweet and people are laughing and kissing and being mischievous maybe she's right, but we are excited, a good script. Came robert's way and she's getting back into the rom com. Game ticket to Paradise hits theaters on october 21st with her best friend George Clooney, we have to mention him as well, you know, I did not think how much I didn't MS rom coms until Julia roberts said that it's to the nineties and early aughts and she was the queen of rom com. Starting with Pretty Women, Runaway Bride, Notting Hill. Think about it and she's spot on because she says she hasn't taken a role in 20 years because the script was just not right. And look think of over the last 15 years, has there been a rom com that you've been obsessed with over the last 15 years that you would put even in the same category as a Pretty Woman and Notting Hill, all these other sorts of films that she's been in there. Also hitting streamer, they're not they're not, you're absolutely right because netflix can turn these out for like in pennies and they're coming out so frequently but they're not hitting like they used to. So if you ask anybody out there, your favorite rom com, they're likely gonna say a pretty woman, they're likely gonna say, I'm not gonna say my best friend's wedding, they're going to say ones from 15, 20 years ago. They're not saying ones from the last year or two to be honest. I can't even think of one over the last few years because you're right, they churn them out so quickly kind of forgettable and disposable. And the thing is as a result then the major motion studios are not putting financial backing behind and they're not going to the theaters then as a result, do you think this will do well in the theaters rom com? I think I think because well one, her return to the big George George Clooney, I think it's got the sort of star power attached to her. But I mean has that time of the rom com sort of dissipated and there's sort of this relic of like the past, you know, like is something sort of interesting to sort of look at because we are only obsess right now with marvel movies right now, Get your dancing shoes ready. Oh, I'm so excited for this because Dancing with the Stars has now revealed the cast for season 31 the celebrity lineup includes Tiktoker, charli D'Amelio and her mom Heidi plus the current Bachelorette Gabby Wendy, Singer Jordin Sparks and Rupaul drag race superstar Shan Djula among others. Ash Angela's participation This season marks the very first time a drag queen has ever competed for the Miracle Trophy. The cast was revealed earlier today Today on G. M. A. She seemed based on the interviews with G. M. A. Today, really sort of good confident all of that. But we know that this is a really sort of a strenuous physical thing. People get injured when they do the practices. Absolutely. But a note on Angela because you know I'm the chief drag queen correspondent, this network. Angela also doubles as a Beyonce performer and Angela is one of the best dancers ever. So if anything, she Angela is going to win this thing so quickly.
