ABC and Dick Clark productions have extended their deal for Ryan Seacrest's host Dick Clark's New Year's Rock and Eve through January 1st of 29 the show of course, takes place in Times Square, New York and as live performances from the year's biggest artist, Dick Clark famously hosted the show from its start in 1972 until 2005 when he stepped down for health reasons.
