'Stranger Things' House

Remember when the Byers' house from Netflix's Stranger Things going up for sale? Well, it looks like the home has its new owner, and now they plan to turn it into a show-themed Airbnb. Apparently the buyer is an investor who made a cash offer above the $300,000 asking price. The plan is to recreate the show within the home and will even have rooms that mimic 'The Upside Down.' The goal is to have the home on the Airbnb market by Halloween.

Barney Haters

Who knew so many people hated Barney the purple dinosaur? Well, apparently the show's creators and the man behind the costume received an onslaught of threats and hate during the show's peak in the 1990s. A two-part docuseries titled I Love You, You Hate Me, will explore the vitriol the team behind the show received as they sought to spread messages of love and inclusion through its children's programming. It's set to premiere on Peacock on October 12.

Apes Return

The next iteration of the science-fiction film series Planet of the Apes is nearly here, and 20th Century Studios just released a first look. The next film, titled Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, will pick up where the 2017 War for the Planet of the Apes left off and will be directed by Wes Ball. The film is slated to hit theaters in 2024.

Majors Takes Up Rodman

It looks like Lionsgate may have found the star of its anticipated Dennis Rodman biopic. Actor Jonathan Majors is reportedly in talks to take on the role of Dennis the Menace. The film will focus on the NBA great's 48-hour trip to Las Vegas that took place amid his quest for a championship during the 1998 NBA finals. There was new excitement generated around the story of his Vegas venture after Michael Jordan's The Last Dance, which took a close look at the trip and the rift it caused between Rodman and the Bulls franchise.
