'Stranger Things' Play
Netflix's Stranger Things is set to wrap up after season five, but for fans of the 1980s-set, sci-fi series, the show will also be headed to the stage. The play, titled The First Shadow, is a prequel to the hit show and will showcase Hawkins, Indiana, circa 1959. Series writer Katy Trefry is writing the story as told by the show creators, the Duffer brothers. The stage production will begin its run at the Phoenix Theater in London starting later this year.
Ed's New Music
Ed Sheeran is working on another project, and it's coming in just over two months. His fifth album (just titled as a minus sign pronounced as "subtract") will be released on May 5. He made the announcement in a Twitter post and also revealed that he'd been working on the album for the better part of a decade. He told fans that writing music was his therapy before revealing that his wife had been diagnosed with a tumor that would not be operated on until after the couple's daughter had been born. "I felt like I was drowning, head below the surface, looking up but not being able to break through for air," he wrote.
