TUCKER TWEETS

Tusker Carlson took to Twitter Wednesday to give his own two-cents on his surprise firing earlier this week. The short video features a now unemployed Carlson harping about the lack of honest political debate on television. "The other thing you notice when you take a little time off is how unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are,” he said. “They’re completely irrelevant. They mean nothing. In five years we won’t even remember we heard them. Trust me, as somebody who participated.”

THE LITTLE MERMAID POSTERS

Disney has tweeted out a series of colorful posters for each of the characters in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. The posters feature a number of A-list actors in full underwater regalia, including Melissa McCarthy, Javiar Bardem, and star Halle Bailey as Ariel. Also on display were Ariel's aquatic friends, Flounder, voiced by Jacob Tremblay, Sebastian (Daveed Diggs), and Scuttle (Awkwafina), who all look like they swam (or flew) right out of a nature documentary.

'WISH' TRAILER DROPS

Walt Disney Animation Studios also just dropped a trailer for the upcoming animated film Wish, arriving this November as the studio celebrates its 100th anniversary. The title seems to be a callback to the iconic When You Wish Upon a Star from Pinnochio that has been something of a theme song for Disney. The story is about an idealistic young girl named Asha (voiced by Ariana DeBose) who makes a powerful wish that is soon answered by a cosmic force called Star. Chris Pine and Alan Tudyk also make up the cast.
