The Last of 'You'

Netflix's You is set to wrap up after its fifth season after the streaming giant announced that Joe Goldberg, played by Penn Badgley, will get one last killing spree, Variety reported. The show first debuted on Lifetime in 2018 and was picked up by Netflix after being canceled the same year. Petr Friedlander, Netflix's vice president of scripted series for the U.S. and Canada, said, "We're excited — and a bit terrified — to see how it all ends for Joe Goldberg, but one thing is for sure: 'You' are in for an unforgettable ending." The platform has not revealed a premiere date for the final season.

A slew of notable comedians have taken up the job since January, including Kal Penn, Leslie Jones, Hasan Minhaj, and Chelsea Handler, among others. John Leguizamo will fill-in next week. As far as future episodes go, the network is also rumored to be considering the idea of having two or three hosts on at a time.

'John Wick 4' Premiere
