It's been more than a year since the Music Modernization Act passed. The legislation ensured songwriters get paid when digital services use their work. It also gives copyright protection to producers and engineers for the first time in history. But the Recording Academy is still working with lawmakers to ensure music creators are properly compensated. Grammy award winning singer-songwriter, Jason Mraz, joined Cheddar to discuss his role as the Recording Academy's District Advocate Ambassador.
