So joining me now is I'm charlie, Seth paul, founder and Ceo at Zorro Son charlie, thank you so much for joining me. It's great to have you this afternoon. So give me some more details about how people can use this to improve the environment. Yeah, I mean something people don't realize is that if you spend money, you have an opportunity for climate action, we all spend money about 800 times a year. Each of those is an opportunity to have an impact. The problem is many of us don't know what the carbon is behind the choices we're making. So we've built an app that makes it easy to start to decarbonization life with the app. You can track the emissions of everything you buy and you can get help to reduce those emissions and then you can connect with other people who are doing the same thing to together shape a more sustainable economy, It's pretty amazing. So on average centrally about how much do you think consumers can save here when it comes to greenhouse gas emissions? Well, what's amazing is actually household spending influences about 65% of global emissions and people don't usually realize that because of course companies have a huge role to play in that as well. But we as consumers have the opportunity to express demand for the kinds of products and services we want. IP personally started the company after I started tracking my carbon footprint and lowered it by about 30% over a few years. And emissions reductions like that are achievable 10 to 25 10 to 30% is really possible. And the best part is you often save money when you save carbon. I love it, jay Z and his firm is VC firm participating in this round. Congratulations. That's a big win. A Sequoia, another big name as well. What did those investors see in your startup? We were really thrilled to be able to bring this kind of unique group of people together. We have Sequoia who's a VC has backed us before and we love working with them. We also got to bring in some artists like jay Z, like my guide singer from an incubus and some climate funds as well, because really it's about the climate conscious consumer is is coming uh the modern consumer cares about this. It's one of the most important things I think about when they're making spending choices and this is an act that should be accessible to anyone basically. If you spend money, you can have impact. And we wanted to have investors who will really help us reach people around the country who are trying to live more sustainable lives. So what's your business model? I'm just curious if it's a subscription that people pay to take advantage of it. I mean you're gonna collect a lot of data and I know for companies getting that E. S. G. Score boosted all of this data probably would help them. Is the data gonna be given to firms to show that they are seeing an impact on their efforts. The app is free to use which is really important to us. Anyone can download the app and track their carbon footprint for free when we make money is when we recommend people sustainable products and services and they decide to actually shift their spending to a different product or service. The first product we offer is offsets. So if people want to try to offset their carbon footprint but they don't know how to find ones that are actually good quality. We do that work for them so that they can subscribe to support projects around the world that are reducing and removing carbon. Um And then hope we are hoping to also recommend other products to our users um so that we can help them shift to a lower carbon products.
