Kathy Hochul was officially sworn in as the 57th Governor of the State of New York in a private ceremony on Tuesday. Hochul also made history as the state's first female governor. She succeeds former Gov. Andrew Cuomo after he stepped down amid multiple sexual harassment allegations.
