King Charles Urged to Apologize for Colonial Abuses During Kenya Visit

In other news, King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived in Kenya yesterday. It's the start of a four day trip which includes a visit with that country's president. According to Buckingham Palace, the king is expected to use this time to quote, acknowledge the more painful aspects of the UK and Kenya's shared history and deep in his understanding of the wrongs suffered in this period by the people of Kenya. Many are calling for the king to formally apologize on behalf of his country. This is the king's first trip to a commonwealth country since becoming monarch. That was of course in September of 2022.
