Right now, Chicago is rated as having the worst air quality index in the world with Washington DC, Minneapolis and Detroit all in the top 10. Meanwhile, the heat dome, Texas continues to move east with the National weather service predicting it will be focused on the southeastern US by the weekend, California also developing its own heat dome leading to an excessive heat warning across much of the central part of the state.
