Major League Baseball is working to bolster excitement around the sport, diversify, and target a younger audience. Mark Carman, studio host at FanSided, joined Cheddar ahead of the All-Star Game to discuss how the league can further support and market its diverse stars like Japanese phenom Shohei Ohtani, and what changes, like moving the all-star festivities out of Atlanta, might garner more eyes for the game. Carman also suggested that the sport move to have every team, regardless of league, play each other every year.
