Man Brought Guns to Wisconsin Capitol Twice in One Day

A Wisconsin man was arrested for illegally bringing a loaded gun into the Wisconsin Capitol on Wednesday. Then returning hours later with an assault rifle. Police say the man walked into the capitol building shirtless on Wednesday around two pm with a loaded handgun. He then approached Governor Tony Evers office demanding to talk to him. Evers was not in the building and the man was arrested for carrying a firearm in the Capitol without a concealed carry permit. He then returned to the Capitol that evening after posting bail this time, he had a loaded assault style rifle and a baton in his backpack. He was detained again, charges against the man are pending.
