Mayi de la Vega, the first Cuban American woman to own a Sotheby's franchise, joined Cheddar's "Closing Bell" to discuss her journey as a hispanic entrepreneur. De la Vega said that she got her start as a real estate agent and was eventually able to open her own small business after establishing herself in the industry. "This is the country of opportunity — of freedom and opportunity," she said. "Whether it's schooling, whether it's small business loans, whatever it is you need to succeed, if you set your heart and your mind, you have the opportunity here in the United States to live that dream."
