Veteran jeweler and three-time cancer survivor Jill Johnson is giving back to her community of survivors with the creation of Awe Jewelry. "Awe" stands for "Alive We're Empowered," and launched in 2016. Johnson says she was inspired to launch the company by her community of other cancer survivors. The design of the "Awe" medallion symbolizes the elements of a survivors journey. Twenty percent of all proceeds go to five charity partners. The company is entirely bootstrapped, and currently available online, direct-to-consumer.
