The incredible professional soccer career of Megan Rapino came to an early end over the weekend when she suffered an injury during a match against Gotham FC just minutes into the game. She went down while trying to defend a rival player and needed to be escorted off by medical personnel. Rapino had announced months ago that she would be ending her professional career at the end of the season, but that was cut short after the injury which afterwards she called quote the worst possible outcome during her career. She's won countless awards including two world Cup trophies, two Olympic medals as far as what's next. She says I'm retiring on the field, but you'll definitely be seeing a lot of me off of it.
