Memphis police arrested an armed suspect who brought a gun to a local Hebrew school yesterday calling it quote a potential mass shooting situation. According to a statement from Tennessee congressman, Steve Cohen, the man is Jewish and was a former student at the Hebrew school. According to police, the man attempted to entered the school and when he was turned away, fired several shots before driving off. Now during a traffic stop, the suspect allegedly left his car, car carrying the gun and was shot by an officer. The suspect is currently in the hospital in critical condition. No one at the Hebrew school was injured.
