Mexican Railway Suspends Trains Due to Migrants

A railway operator in Mexico suspending operations in the northern part of the country to protect migrants who are trying to get on board trains because they keep on getting injured or in some cases dying fedex said in a statement yesterday that 60 cargo trains will be halted after a half dozen quote, regrettable cases of injuries or deaths in the northern states as migrants attempted to jump aboard the freight trains in order to get closer to the US Mexico border. The company also said it's halting service to quote, protect the physical safety of the migrants. Fedex went on to say quote, there has been a significant increase in the number of migrants in recent days. The company says as many as 1500 migrants were waiting along the train tracks in some areas.
