Vijay Iyer, Director of Maven Communications, discusses the company's latest survey of millennial spending habits in the summer that found that the average millennial will spend $1,300 dollars this summer on socializing. The survey also found that the average millennial will attend 37 events this summer alone. Maven, the General Motors-owned ride-sharing company, is capitalizing on this fact by targeting the millennial demo which currently accounts for 18% of its customer base, as it expands to major cities across the country.
