Millions to Travel Within China for National Holiday

In China, millions have begun traveling within the country as part of their eight day autumn holiday, which is expected to be a major boost to the nation's economy. China's railway system is expecting 190 million passengers trips during the holiday rush. More than double last year's numbers and an additional 21 million are expected to travel by air for the holiday that averages to about 17,000 flights per day. This marks the longest week of public holidays since pandemic restrictions were lifted there just this past December.
