Moderna Finds Its COVID Vaccine 100 Percent Effective in Kids 12 to 17

Pharma company Moderna announced on Tuesday that its COVID-19 vaccine has been found effective during a trial run on more than 3,700 children. According to the vaccine maker, a single dose in adolescents aged 12 to 17 had a 93 percent efficacy rate and 100 percent efficacy after a second dose. Moderna’s next step will be to apply to the FDA to expand emergency use authorization for teens.
