Monday Afternoon Forecast

Go to the weather, some scattered showers in the northeast and the northwest today. Plus most of the country is experiencing mild fall temperatures. Here's your full forecast. Meteorologist, Alex Calamia here with a pretty quiet forecast across the country. All things considered, we'll take you to the northeast where we do have some very stray sprinkles and elongated area of low pressure off of Canada is bringing those light showers kind of an autumn feel for you. And then on the west coast, a more vigorous storm system pushing in and very typical this time of the year that you get storm systems that pop in on the west coast and then kind of transverse across the country. So that's what we're watching over the next few days. Tuesday, it's more of a northern plains that are getting in on rain and into Wednesday. We're mainly quiet, both on the east coast and for most of the west coast too, things look pretty quiet through the middle of the week. Thursday comes in with a better chance of rain toward the Great Lake Chicago, Detroit and into Toronto. These are a few spots they'll be dealing with rain perhaps even some thunderstorms extending into the southeast on Friday. That's when it's the northeastern and the eastern half of the country in general. Look at all of this rain from Georgia all the way to New York. We're expecting some showers. A coastal storm tries to develop. I'm not expecting this to really organize necessarily, but it's gonna bring some gloomy weather for the end of the work week. And unfortunately, the weekend for our big cities in the northeast, let's talk. Temperatures on your Tuesday, pretty fall feel for the northeast, uh, touch milder for the south but nothing too unusual there. What is unusual? 83 in Denver that's gonna be warm, but a front does push through for Wednesday and we're gonna notice cooler temperatures pushing across the country there. Nothing too chilly in places like the four corners and into the southern plains. But we're keeping things very much seasonable far northward. Definitely a fall feel for you. It gets a bit warm for New York, for Philly, for DC. On, uh, Thursday into Friday. We could be hitting seventies there, Thursday and Friday, but then that storm system arrives on Saturday. It cools things down. And actually the general trend into the last full week of October is for the eastern half of the country to be a little bit cooler than average.
