Mother’s Day Cocktails With RHOA's Cynthia Bailey and Seagram's Escape

Cynthia bailey is busy running her many, many businesses or showcasing her acting skills in tv shows and movies now, she's teaming up with Seagram's escapes to create the perfect drink just in time for Mother's Day. So joining us now is the one the only Cynthy bailey. Welcome Cynthia. Now, let's talk about the real housewives of Atlanta 1st. How are you doing? So housewives, I'm doing great, I have all this booze right next to me and I'm gonna show me how to make something great, so I'm very excited, so housewives coming and going is nothing new, but ultimately what made you decide, it's like the Franchising wasn't a hard decision to make for yourself. Oh my goodness, it was a very hard decision for me to make. I have been a consistent peach holder on the real Housewives of Atlanta for 11 years, so um you know what, it was not only time, it was just the right time for me, I felt like, you know, you guys have seen the ups the downs, the marriage, divorce, the new marriage, um full circle moment. Honestly, I just didn't have anything else to give anymore for now, you know what I'm saying and I say for now because I'll never say never, you know, you just never know, you know, down the road, maybe maybe something that I may be interested in doing again. So we'll see the door is open the door is open alright good, I love how we both have all this booze in front of us now. The fans have many favorite moments from you on the show. So what are some of your favorite moments from over the years? Oh wow. Honestly, I would have to say I was honest so long. It's it's quite a bit of them. Quite a few. Uh, one of my favorites for sure is when my daughter Noelle, um came out as fluid. That was I didn't realize how many families were dealing with with kids who were fluid. I didn't even know what it meant until she told me she was fluid. So that was a teachable moment and also a very important moment for us. And uh, you know, I I felt like I embrace um that new information, which I was really, you know, just really hearing um really well, you know what I'm saying for me, It's all about love and love is love and um I just want her to be happy. And uh it ended up being something that a lot of, a lot of other parents really resonated with. So I was really glad that we share that parents of parents. It's good that she came to you. That means you're doing something right If she can't come to you for something as big as that in her life. Now, Cynthia we know you're an amazing on the runway but you're also an amazing actor. You just signed with cmg Talent? Congrats by the way. So it was acting something you always knew you wanted to get into Yes. You know what I've always dabbled with acting my entire career. Like my modeling career would always come up, you know, back in the day I did, you know the Cosby shows and I actually did a movie with Sandra Bernhardt. So it's always come up but I always, at the time I was more focused on my modeling career and then once I transitioned into reality television, that kind of like was on the forefront for me. It was a great part to play and I got to play a mom, you know, in the spirit of Mother's Day that's coming up. I got to be a mom, which is obviously something that you know, I can, you know, resonated with all the jobs in this next chapter and all the different businesses that I have going on. My biggest and most important job and biggest priority is actually being a mother. So beautiful. Now I have to talk Celebrity Big Brother. You finished in third place in an interview, you said The house was full with 11 people and one bathroom. Did you know what what? Okay, so what were you expecting going into the experience and wasn't an adjustment because it feels like it would have been Oh, it was definitely an adjustment and a very humbling experience to be in that house for 30 days. But here's the thing. I knew I wasn't gonna do that well at the games because I just knew I was gonna probably, you know, I'm not that athletic. I knew I was gonna probably be 11 of the older people in the house. So I was like, Alright, where are my strengths? I can cook and I can clean and I try to be a nice person. Like I'm pretty easy to get along with and you know, my word and my integrity is everything. So although I didn't really play the game, how would normally be played? It worked for me because you know almost one in the end. Alright, so speaking of motherhood, like you mentioned, you're partnering with Seagram's escapes this mother's day with your signature cocktails. Tell us why these are perfect for the holiday. Moms are super busy. You already know that. So if you don't want anything too complicated, we created Seagram's escapes and I created the mom osa, which is basically any of your, any of the signature flavors. This is my signature flavor, The peach bellini, but we have tons of other flavors as well that you guys can choose from and any sparkling white wine. I have this Prosecco and honestly, I just do it to taste. They recommend two thirds cup of Seagram's escapes flavor of any kind. Can you do the peach Bellini with me? And then one third cup of sparkling wine. Okay I have some Prosecco. Here. There you go. There you go. And I have some blueberries in mind if you have any garnish, that's great. If you don't, it's all good. Yes there's some gummy bears right here. I'm gonna put some gummy bears in it because it looks the color my spice there. I love that you get gummy bears. So that's awesome. That's awesome. So simple. Quick, easy. You know I honestly, you know as a mom feel like Mother's Day should be every day and especially after coming out of the pandemic, I think we're pretty much out of it now every day.
