Mozilla Joining Fight to Save Net Neutrality

January 18, 2018

Mozilla joining the fight to save net neutrality. The open source web browser filed a petition this week, challenging the Federal Communication Commission's vote to roll back Obama-era protections. Mozilla's Senior Policy Manager Heather West explains what the company is hoping to accomplish with this petition.

"We need to protect the internet, and we need to protect users so anyone can be a creator, an innovator, and a maker," says West. "The biggest concern is that this is only a partisan issue in the United States."

West explains net neutrality is an issue that impacts everyone, and is glad to see technology companies join the fight to protect net neutrality.
