MTV reality show "Siesta Key" wraps up its season this week with a very emotional episode following cast member Madisson Hausburg's wedding and her pregnancy loss. Hausburg joined Cheddar News to discuss the show's season finale, what she is up to now, and confronting grief. "There is so much stigma around baby loss and around stillbirth, and so for me, the best way I have gotten through this is just being able to talk about him and not forgetting him," she said about losing the baby.

Welcome back to Between Bells everyone. The finale of season four of MTV. Siesta Key is this week, the final episode follows our next guest on our very big day, she's getting married? She's surrounded by friends and family. However, as the episode continues, fans will see what really happened after our next guest experience. One of the hardest things anyone can go through a pregnancy loss joining us now discusses Siesta Key cast member Madison House Berg Madison Welcome to the show first. I want to say I'm so sorry for your loss and I want to thank you for your bravery for coming on this show because this is not an easy topic and I know so many women will, couples will benefit from this, the most important question. How are you and your husband doing right now? Thank you, Thank you for asking. Um it definitely has been the hardest five months of my life since I gave birth to my son. Um yeah, it's been really tough, you know? Unfortunately there's so many moms out there who have gone through what you've gone through. Do you have any advice for some people who may be facing the same struggles? Um I would just say grieve as you need to um for me personally, that has entailed talking about my son um and just, you know, there's so much stigma around baby law office around stillbirth. Um and so for me, the best way I've gone through this um is just being able to talk about him um and not, you know, not forgetting him, there's a scene in the finale that you and your friends are sitting on the beach and you talk about what happened with Elliot, How important is it to have your friends that support system in a moment. That's just so hard, right? It has been huge having people support me. I know that not everyone gets the same support that I've gotten on these past five months and it has been so incredible having my friends acknowledged me as a mother, acknowledge my baby as a human being. You know, just having those girls support me and asking questions about my son. That is something that is so huge to me, just being able to, you know, talk about him and acknowledge and really been incredible having all of those girls by my side this entire time and you know, they check up on me when I don't want to respond, they don't like take it personally, you know, like they're there when I'm ready to talk and they they're just always a really wonderful support system. I think that's such good advice even for those of us who want to help a friend who's gone through that situation. So thank you for sharing that. This episode highlights your big day, your wedding day. You looked gorgeous. What are some of the biggest struggles you and your husband are facing now? Um obviously the loss of our son has really been incredibly hard. Um you know, we do grieve differently. Um you know, he and I think fathers of of lost babies do tend to grieve differently. You know, I carried him for nine months. I have this very, very personal relationship with Elliot. Um, so, you know, we're trying to like figure out, you know, how we, how we can be there for each other and through each other's breathing processes. And he's just been so wonderful. You know, I've obviously it's been a on a day to day basis. It's really difficult for me, You know, I usually, yeah, I've cried every single day for the past five months, but he has been there at every second of it and he's really been so strong for me and I'm just so appreciative and I really think that the loss of our of our sun has made us so much stronger than I could ever imagine what with what has happened to you and your husband. Is there any perspective that you learned from it as you move forward and how was it having this tragedy recorded and highlighted on a reality show? Well, you know, we got married um in our wedding and then it, the show wrapped actually, um, and then a few months later, obviously, you know, I gave birth to Elliot. Um, and it was so important for me to get that message out there and they were, you know, very willing to, you know, they were very eager and willing to have me um come back and speak to the other women about what had happened to Elliot. Um So it has been, you know, for me it's been really more of like a healing process to have this all reported and have watching this whole season my pregnancy. Um That's something that, you know, I understand other people might not feel the same way, but for me it's been a really amazing thing to have to look back on. Um and I know my husband feels the same way. So we are very grateful to have all of all of Elliot's pregnancy caught on camera and then, you know, being able to talk about it. And I don't even remember, to be honest, I don't remember that seeing um where I come back and talk about Elliot. I was only two months out of giving birth. And so it's I have and I still haven't watched it. So we'll see if I'm able to watch that part. But I am grateful to be able to come out and speak about him. Um and not just, you know, I'm a very firm believer and you know, continuing his memory and making sure that his name is never forgotten. So I am very grateful to be able to be on the show and talk about him. I have no doubt. There are so many couples out there that are so grateful for you sharing this story SCS Aqui does come to an end this season. Do you plan on coming back for another season Madison? If there's another season, I will definitely be there, I can't imagine it any other way. This has been my life for the past five years and um there's nothing I want more than to, you know, continue sharing my journey, especially on this, it's the hardest part of my life that I've ever had, but I still, you know, I do want to share that and I do think, you know, selfishly for me, I think it's very healing, but I also, you know, I hope that someone sees my story and feels a little less alone. I have no doubt you are helping so many. Thank you again for coming on the show and again, your bravery is incredible.
