Multiple women who in the state of Texas over its abortion laws took the stand yesterday and gave emotional testimony about their experiences. All say they were denied abortions despite clear risks to their life because of the law. Here's what Samantha Casiano shared with the court. She told me that I didn't have any options because there was a law, the Texas abortion law prohibited Texas has outlawed all abortions except in the case where the woman's life is at risk. This lawsuit which was filed by 13 women and two obgyns is not looking to overturn the abortion ban. Instead they want the judge to clarify the medical emergencies where an abortion is legally allowed in the state. The two day hearing continues today.
