Myocarditis Looms as Threat to Athletes Recovering from COVID-19

This fall, the Big Ten and Pac-12, two of college football's Power 5 conferences, will not be taking the field. One of the gamechangers for both conferences was the appearance of Myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle that can be caused by a number of different viruses, including COVID-19.
