And finally today marks 10 years since Nasa's curiosity, rover landed on MArs. The rover was initially only supposed to explore the red planet for two years, but it's still out there. Gathering data curiosity has driven an estimated 17.5 miles since touching down and captured a wide variety of images, 70 miles might not seem like a lot, but through its exploration, the rover has been able to answer many unknowns about the fourth planet in our solar system. It's discovered a stream bed that used to host a river that scientists believe could have been several feet deep, curiosity has also found organic molecules supporting theories that MArs could have once supported life.
