National Weather Forecast: Monday, August 28, 2023

I'm so my senior meteorologist Julian with a quick look at our forecast across the United States. As of right now, we are still tracking tropical storm Idalia, which has been making some issues for parts of Florida as it's continuing to track its way into the Gulf and will go into the rest of the United States as we get some rest of our work week. So taking a look at our future cast along the United States, really going to the southeast is what we're gonna be watching for the two systems from a hurricane and even tropical storm perspective over the next couple of days that are gonna be bringing widespread rain throughout much of the eastern seaboard as we get to Tuesday and Wednesday even that rain will start to eclipse parts of New York. But of course, our eyes are gonna be catered to the southeast parts of Florida, even for Georgia and making its way towards the Carolinas as it gets to the back end of the work week. We're looking for Thursday and Friday to be much clearer for the eastern seaboard. But a bit more rain is going to start to develop for parts of New Mexico and going towards Arizona and California areas. Now, temperatures going into our Monday is not gonna be too bad for many of us, even the parts of Texas and now you're gonna be seeing the triple digits and once we go into New York and Washington DC into the upper and middle seventies, so not too bad, but the southeast and the south and the south is still gonna be dealing with a bit of some heat for our Monday. And even for Tuesday as Houston warms itself up back into the triple digits by the time we roll into Tuesday. Now take a look at for the northeast in itself for Monday. Again, high temperatures around Philadelphia and Pittsburgh into the lower eighties, Detroit 75 degrees, but Boston is 72 and Chicago at 77 heading into the Southeast New Orleans looking around 93 degree and they're gonna be starting to get impacted by what's happening over towards the Gulf with the Florida area. Still looking into the lower and middle nineties as well as we take a look over towards what we have for Tampa and Orlando 94 degrees and 92 for Tampa. But for our friends to the west, we're looking at San Francisco at 72 degrees, 84 Los Angeles and about 100 and seven, a real scorcher over towards Las Vegas. But the cooler conditions are going to be over towards Seattle with about 75 degrees. By the time we head into our Monday high temperatures.
