After the Supreme Court sided with student athletes on educational benefits and multiple states instituted new laws expanding their rights, the NCAA Division 1 Council has proposed an interim rule allowing college athletes in all 50 states to begin getting compensated for their name likeness. He said if the proposal is accepted, college sports figures will be able to get compensated for hosting training sessions and camps and promote their overall individual brands.
