Forty-two of the victims died in the "Camp" fire, the deadliest blaze in California’s history that’s burned more than 7,000 structures and more than 100,000 acres. The trial will take place under unprecedented security, with snipers on rooftops and marshals moving the defendant between Manhattan, where he is jailed, to the courtroom in Brooklyn via undisclosed means.
