Plus, the committee's investigation continues just on friday in a closed door meeting. They've sat down for the first time with White House Counsel during the trump administration. Patsy bologna who had a lot of really interesting insight into particularly the conversations that were happening in the White House leading up to and on january 6th, one of those was around the idea that, well, the President wanted the Department of Justice to intervene in the election. He wanted them to seize voting machines. Something simple oni said was just completely outside the realm of reality. Take a look, but the idea that the federal government could come in and these election machines. No, but that's I don't I don't understand why we have to tell you why that's a bad idea. It's a terrible idea. So even though simple oni there, as you can see, was completely incredulous at the idea of seizing voting machines. That is a conversation that we now know from bologna, from former Attorney General Bill Barr was ongoing inside the White House in the days and weeks after the 2020 election. This hearing though was not actually intended to focus so much on the inner workings of the White House. The other is a former spokesperson for the oath keepers, One of those paramilitary groups with that far right white supremacist ideology and he said, look, they came into this, expecting it to be a spectacle, expecting it to be violent and unsafe and frankly, a revolution. Take a look. I think we need to quit mincing words and just talk about truths and what it was gonna be was an armed revolution. I mean, people died that day, law enforcement officers side this, there was a gallows set up in front of the capitol.
