And the Supreme Court ruled Monday that a high school football coach had a constitutional right to pray at the 50 yard line after his team's football game. The vote was 6-3 with the court's three liberal members dissenting. The coach Joseph Kennedy started the game time prayers back in 2008. The school board did not renew his contract. Critics are calling that decision a further erosion of the separation between church and state. That we are going to have some more analysis on the impact of this decision coming up in a few moments and sticking with the Supreme Court. America is still reeling from the decision to effectively overturn roe versus wade. Some women's health clinics have been forced to turn away patients in states like Alabama while trigger laws are falling into place throughout the country. Meanwhile, calls for lawmakers to codify abortion rights are growing louder. Meanwhile, let's move overseas to Russian missiles slammed into a crowded shopping mall in the city of commensurate in central Ukraine. On Monday, local officials are saying at least 11 people were killed and about 50 others injured Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelensky said more than 1000 people were in that shopping center at the time. Well, the january 6th committee yesterday announced a surprise hearing for this afternoon at one p.m. And the committee didn't share any other details other than it will quote present recently obtained evidence and receive witness testimony. We now have a slightly clearer picture of what to expect. So we've got to break it all down Cassidy Hutchinson, a former senior aide to former White House Chief of Staff. Mark Meadows Is expected to testify today. Her appearance was first reported by Bowl News. Hutchinson was a witness to critical events and conversations throughout January six. She has already sat for an interview with the committee so we're likely to hear information. The panel already knows. One thing she may be asked more about is pardons at the last hearing. Video testimony from Hutchinson and other trump aides revealed a handful of republican members reached out to the White House to seek a pardon. This includes representatives Andy Biggs mo brooks, matt gates, Louie, Gohmert marjorie, taylor Greene and scott. Perry moore pardon request could be revealed in testimony today. Punch Bowl also reporting this morning that Hutchinson's testimony will inform the hearings. The committee has scheduled for july and that there are serious concerns for Hutchinson's safety because of what she revealed to the committee. So Ariel, given the importance of her testimony. Can we expect more hearing soon. Well, we don't quite know yet. Yesterday's announcement came as a big surprise to everyone. But if the tidbit about her testimony informing the rest of the hearing is true.
