Netflix promotes its new action movie 'The Gray Man' in Decentraland as a way to explore interactive ways to connect with fans virtually. Adam De Cata, CEO of NFT Tech, discusses the significance of this move and sheds insight on other stories making headlines in the Metaverse.

for more insight on all of this. We're joined by Adam Dakota, he's the ceo of N. F. T. Tech, thank you so much for joining us, we gotta get your insight on these stories, Adam does um does this prediction fall in line with what you're seeing in the industry or they spot on firstly? Happy meta best monday to you both? Shot and Alicia, I think, I think it's intriguing, you know, like as a conversation about what will fail is pretty optimistic in many ways of someone's opinion. I think, I think what the positives out of it all are that the metaverse, whatever the definition maybe um for it um is something and it's definitely real and you know what people are exploring today in real time is sort of defining what the future of it might look like. Um I don't think we should discourage anyone for trying building on things, especially when it comes to someone like matter. Yeah, I don't certainly see a world where where Zuckerberg would be discouraged, it seems like he is going to double down on this win or lose, whether it's a misfire or he proves you know that to be to be wrong. But outside of that, which industries do you see actually kicking off the adoption of the metaverse? Well, we've already seen a lot within alcohol brands to motorsport to um Yeah, I think at the core of it that a lot of different industries all explored sports in general. Um You know, N. F. T. Tech had the privilege of working at the Australian Open, which was a super exciting experience into Central Land I think you know when we're exploring in real time it's testing ground for what may be the future learnings for something that we can build better. Um It's a fair point though I think like um you know at the end of the day what do consumers want, what do they want to see and what do they want to experience? But um yeah I think at the end of the day it's it's intriguing to see all the different projects come to life. 100% even major names like Nike or Wendy's have kind of had roles or started to kind of dip their toes in the metaverse. I want to get your thoughts on another story, making headlines, netflix, it is partnering with the Central Land to promote its new movie, the Gray men in the metaverse. The Central Land re created a landscape from the movie to offer fans the Gray man metaverse version or mission essentially users must find their way amongst the maze. Using their knowledge of the film's plot, players must enter the maze, clocked the best time and then when wearables the experience. As a result of the partnership between netflix and latin netflix is latin America and the Central Land Adam. You know what are your thoughts on this project and could more experiences like this. Um You know get people staying in the metaverse for longer periods of time talking about industries I think film and entertainment really haven't explored it to the depths of what the possibilities are and you know, it's one of the industries that has the most possibilities in terms of escapism and exploring that within virtual environments. Um I was fortunate enough to actually watch the Gray Man on saturday night this week, so um and I enjoyed it and I sort of saw the context to how something in a virtual environment that wasn't limited by the bounds of you know, physical buildings to council approvals. Um It made a lot of sense is a great example of, I think what the future might look like in terms of gamifying and experience adding rewards and connecting consumers to engaging pieces of content. Well the central land is not stopping there. We got one more story for you popular metaverse platform. Again, the Central Land, well they're they're launching the world's first metaverse A. T. M. The Central Land is teaming up with payment gateway and metaverse studio transact to allow users to the ability to purchase Cryptocurrency at an A. T. M. In the metaverse. Now the developers say that the A. T. M's will give user a seamless journey while navigating web three. Today the central land is hosting a launch event at the air drop tower, attendees will learn how to set up the virtual A. T. M. At their property and they're also be workshops on monetization as landowners, which that all sounds pretty cool and it seems a lot more than what other companies are doing. So what is your thought on this and the future of where they're going firstly? It's really nice to actually see that come to life. I was behind the scenes on with the team of Transact for some time. But um yeah, finally see it come to life is really nice. I think the way we can sort of take inspiration from projects like this is that, you know, something that can be within a metaverse, a virtual environment that you can go and buy if that's crypto or you know, product or experiences without having to leave the browser or desktop is something that definitely will be the future and more seamless interaction between a user being in environment itself and you know buying and dealing with things um in real time. So yeah, I think it's only the start, I can only help but have my blinkers on and thinking about what are the possibilities but where most people will see between web commerce, you know, e commerce for instance with web two. Um I think we can expect more of this where transactions can happen within a platform or even purchases for going and visiting different storefronts and the likes.
