Netflix has created a listing of movies, each around 90 minutes long, to appease users who might be looking for less of a time sink. This comes after a recent SNL sketch featuring Pete Davidson pleading for more "Short A** Movies" in a rap song.

Netflix Creates List of 'Short' Movies in Response to SNL Sketch

Yeah, we're gonna be talking about that in just a few. But first it's always a challenge. Sitting through a three hour, sometimes nearly four hour movie. Looking at you the Irishman and also Pete Davidson agrees. So saturday night Live did something about it and created a sketch complaining about netflix movies, having those insanely long run times. Take a look, found a flick about to pick it, but right before I click it, I looked down right below the line and that's what I see. The run time. Three hours, 27 minutes bro. You must be crazy. No thanks. I'm gonna watch your short movie like Driving Miss daisy. I'm not pushing peace unless it's under two hours like Lion King, the Bad month, three Austin Powers and Batman was great. So I went to a theater inside. I missed my pants twice. That was longer than The Hobbit. Give me that short movie. Well ask. And you shall receive feet in response to the late night sketch. The streaming giant has now curated a new short movies category. Netflix shared a link to the new list featuring 90 minute films like Zoo Lander and Monty python and the Holy Grail.
