University educating the deaf and hard of hearing has debuted a first of its kind football helmet, Gallaudet University teamed up with AT&T to create a five G helmet that visually communicates plays. Here's how it works. Coaches on the sidelines, select the play from a tablet. The quarterback will then receive it in augmented reality on the digital display within the visor of the helmet. The final product is the result of almost two years of communication between the team and AT&T, which came up with the concept as a way to close the inclusion gap for the deaf community with its five G network.
