A new astrology app, Sanctuary, hopes to bring the wisdom of the stars and the planets right to your phone. The platform provides users with free daily horoscopes, tarot card readings, and live interactions with astrologers.

“We are reinventing that for the mobile-first environment,” Ross Clark, the company’s CEO and co-founder, told Cheddar.

Sanctuary, which was launched on Wednesday, also gives users a “power emoji of the day.”

The company says it is capitalizing on the public’s growing interest in astrology and is bringing the $2 billion dollar mystic services industry into the digital era.

Sanctuary also uses the latest technology to provide users a “rich exploration” of themselves, Clark said. For example, the app combines NASA planetary data and the astrology wheel to give users an in-depth look at the celestial cycles and how it affects terrestrial life.

You can “explore your birth chart, which is a snapshot of the sky at your exact date time and location of birth, overlayed on the human-created astrology wheel,” Clark said.

Users of the app can also connect with professional astrologers who can provide real-time understandings of the cosmic insights.

The company secured initial funding by several venture capitalists, such as Advancit Capital, Broadway Video Ventures, Greycroft Partners, and KEC Ventures.
