As students head back into the classrooms, the number of pediatric COVID-19 cases have surged. According to the latest reports, the number of children with the virus has reached nearly 252,000 within the last week. Already a number of schools across the country have had to close down due to outbreaks. Several parents now are concerned about whether or not their child could be next. In recent new polling from USATODAY/ IPSOS, 2 in 3 parents support a mask mandate despite the political divide on whether or not mask mandates should be implemented in schools.
