New York City's medical facilities say they are in desperate need of federal funds to fight the deadly coronavirus outbreak.

As New York's death toll mounts, there are concerns its hospital system may be overtaxed when the pandemic hits its peak, which is expected in about three weeks. The U.S. Senate is proposing a $2 trillion stimulus package to help Americans, businesses and medical facilities get through the coronavirus crisis. New York's hospitals say they desperately need the money.
