Krystal Joy Brown, currently starring in "Hamilton" as Eliza, and Murad Awawdeh, the executive director for the New York Immigration Coalition, spoke to Cheddar about the organization's virtual Power Gala on June 8 to benefit the NYIC's economic recovery efforts for immigrant families and small businesses in New York City. The event will also be honoring New York State Attorney General Letitia James.
