Electric vehicle maker Xos, Inc. recently went public via a SPAC merger with NexGen, and co-founders CEO Dakota Semler, and COO Giordano Sordoni joined Cheddar to discuss the IPO and producing medium-duty electric trucks for FedEx. "They're the perfect use case for us. It's the ideal example of a customer," Sordoni said about the delivery giant. "They're doing a lot less than 200 miles a day, they have extremely predictable routes, they always return to the exact same home base at night, which is our sweet spot." Semler added that Xos fleet electric vehicles were largely designed without federal incentives in mind.
