NHTS Investigates Weekend Tesla Crash in California

And regulars here in the US are investigating a deadly car crash involving a Tesla that plowed into a fire truck in California. It happened over the weekend, just east of SAn Francisco. The local fire department says the Tesla hit a fire truck parked on a highway and blocked a crew that was clearing a separate crash. The driver was killed and a passenger was critically injured. It's not clear if Tesla's autopilot feature was being used at the time of this accident. This is just the latest Tesla crash that regulators are looking into. Many of these vehicle accidents involve, um, that they're related to Tesla's full service driving feature. Tesla just issued a recall for that feature last week. Tesla shares and the day down by about more than 5%. The E. V. company has not commented on this crash.
