North Carolina Court Rules State Must Restore Voting Rights To Former Felons

Since the founding of our country, we've become more small-d democratic as more and more people gained the right to vote. Voting laws like the voting rights act have further ensured that right. Today many states have moved to expand voting rights to formerly incarcerated people, and a recent court ruling added North Carolina to the list of those states.
