Ozempic has over 600 million views on TikTok. The FDA approved the drug for the treatment of Type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, and insulin resistance back in 2017, but more recently it's gotten attention for helping users lose weight, and many are wondering if it's safe.
The Cut recently published a piece talking to multiple people who are actually taking Ozempic explicitly for weight loss, a practice that has generated plenty of controversy online.
